Container Gardening part V

今回はガーデニングトークパート５です。

今日は春分の日ですね。これからだんだん暖かくなってきましたね♡
そして春はたくさんの花が咲き始めますね！！

Today is the spring equinox (the start of spring) so here are some pictures of flowers beginning to bloom!!

シクラメンの花が咲き始めます！！去年は５月に咲くのを待っていましたが今年は早く咲きそうです！

Last year, I waited until May before the cyclamens started to bloom. This year, the red cyclamens are already in full bloom and the white ones will bloom soon–aren’t they cute ?

赤のシクラメンはカワイイですね♡
白のシクラメンは後少しで咲くかな ？百合の花ももうすぐですね！！多分５月くらいに咲き始めます。そしてピンクのヒアシンスと多肉植物と後ろには水仙はキレイです ♡

The lilies have begun to sprout, and the pink hyacinth with some succulents and yellow daffodils will make for a charming container❤︎. I’m looking forward to seeing the flowers in May.

BOOK of the MONTH

３月のおすすめ本は「THE QUOTABLE STAR WARS」です。この本には「オリジナル・トリロジー」「スター・ウォーズ」映画の一番有名な言葉 があります。

March’s book is The Quotable Star Wars, complied by Stephen J. Sansweet.  The book contains all the best lines from the original Star Wars trilogy, from Ben Kenobi’s famous “The Force will be with you…always,” to Princess Leia’s quip, “I’d just as soon kiss a wookiee,” to Master Yoda’s wise words, “Try not.  Do.  Or do not.  There is no try”.

私が子供のときに大好きな映画です！！毎日隣の友達と一緒に「スター・ウォーズ」の登場人物を真似して遊んでいました。私はいつも好きな「レイア姫」でした。そして３年前私はハロウィンに「レイア姫」の仮装をしました。どちらが本物かな？😉

When I was a kid, these were my favorite movies.  I spent many summer days with the neighborhood kids and my little brother make-believing we were characters from the Star Wars universe.  Of course, I insisted on being Princess Leia, who I wanted to be when I grew up😉. Actually, I dressed as Princess Leia 3 years ago for Halloween!!  Can you tell which is the real one?

Hinamatsuri！

こんにちは、Jenniferです。

昨日は雛祭りですね！去年と同じく、今からヘアーイノベーションの雛人形があります。島根県は４月３日に祝うみたいです。私のお母さんも３月始まってからカワイイ雛様（下の写真）がアメリカの家にディスプレーされてます♡

Yesterday, March 3rd, was Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival), which is celebrated throughout Japan.  Just like last year, Hair Innovation’s Dairibina (Imperial Dolls) will be on display until April 3rd, since according to the traditional lunar calendar, it may also be celebrated one month later.  My mother sent me the picture above of her own set of Dairibina which she is also displaying in her home for the month of March! ♡
