月のおすすめの本は坪田愛華さんの地球の秘密です。

この前、私たちはあいと地球と競売人のミュージカルを見に行きました。坪田愛華さんとこの漫画はミュージカルのインスピレーションです。漫画のテーマは地球環境を守るということです。

This month’s featured book is Secrets of the Earth, by Aika Tsubota.

I wrote about Aika-San when we went to see the musical inspired by her life.  Secrets of the Earth, which she completed for a 6th grade project, contains messages about taking care of the Earth. It is beautifully illustrated, well researched and very inspirational.  Let’s all follow her example, that even one person can make a difference, and help keep planet Earth beautiful!!

５月のおすすめの本はオレンジページVol.5です。
この本には美味しそうでヘルシーなレシピがいっぱいあります。イタリアの知恵なす料理もおすすめです。

May’s book is a mook (the Japanese portmanteau of “magazine” and “book”) published by the cooking magazine,  Orange Page. It features healthy, organic recipes, and also a section devoted to Italian dishes, like lasagna, using nasu (Japanese eggplant). 

私はなすが好きでお父さんのおすすめなす料理を何回も頑張って作りました「下の写真」。

I love the flavor of Japanese eggplant, and pictured above are my recent, numerous attempts cooking with it.

やっぱり私のお父さんが作ったなす料理がキレイと美味しいそう（下の写真）。今から頑張る！

In the end, I couldn’t compete with my father’s beautiful eggplant dish, pictured above, but I’ll keep trying!

4月のおすすめ本は宝塚歌劇 花組 全国ツアーのプログラムです。

先週、私は宝塚を見に行きました♪　第一はミュージカル「仮面のロマネスク」と第二はスパークリング・ショー「EXCITER!! 2017」です！私はミュージカルが大好きで松江で見れるのでとてもうれしかったです。ロマンティックな芝居の衣裳もステキです。第二のショーはダンスでみんなも一緒に盛り上がりましたとても楽しい時間でした♥

私は次回宝塚大劇場・宝塚バウホールでパフォーマンスを見たいです！！

Last week I saw another performance of the Takarazuka Review, Japan’s all-female musical theatre troupe.  It was put on by the Flower troupe as part of this year’s national tour.  April’s book is the program from this performance, which was divided into two parts: a musical called Romanesque Mask and a “sparkling show” called Exciter!! 2017. 

Although the plot of Romanesque Mask was a little hard for me to follow, I thoroughly enjoyed the acting and singing, and the Romantic costumes were absolutely gorgeous!  The second half was a nonstop, high-energy, Vegas-like show that had the entire audience clapping along.♡  

I still want to see a full production at the Takarazuka Grand Theater!!
