１２月のおすすめ本はインテリアデザインブック「シャビーシック」です。シャビーシックはソフトな色とアンティークぽいエレガントなインテリアスタイルです。とてもカワイイ♡

December’s book is Rachel Ashwell’s interior design book, Shabby Chic.  The shabby chic style is best known for its soft tones and antique or vintage inspired furniture and accessories, which are beautifully captured in this month’s book♡.  Looking through this book even inspired some of the interior pieces in our salon!

１０月のおすすめ本はSternのポートフォリオシリーズ「エディ・スリマン」です。この本にはモノクロ写真です。

October’s book is from the Stern Fotographie Portfolio series featuring: Hedi Slimane.

エディ・スリマンは現在イブサンローランのデザイナー！！以前はフォトグラファーやディオールオムのデザイナーなど多彩で山崎さんの好きなデザイナーのひとりです。

Inside the book is an overview of photographer Hedi Slimane’s works.  Hedi Sliame is also well known for his innovative men’s designs for Yves Saint Laurent and later, Dior.  He is one of Mr. K’s favorite designers.

８月のおすすめ本は「One Piece」英語の訳文で〜す♡

アートワークは独自「ワンピース」と同じですけど全登場人物、英語ペラペラ見たい（笑）擬声語も英語に翻訳しました「ジャジャーン」＝「Ta-da!」です。

August’s book is the English version of the popular manga, One Piece.  It reads right to left just like the original, so the integrity of the artwork is preserved.  I hope you enjoy seeing the characters “speak” English 😉. You can also see how Japanese onomatopoeia is written in English, for example jaja-n is “ta-da!”

７月のおすすめの本は２冊あります！！ This month has two recommended books!!

今月は「スポーツ・グラフィックナンバー」のワールドカップ2014ガイド。ブラジル大会もあと少しでファイナル！！この本には出場32カ国のメンバー＆インタビューが記載。私が好きなチームは敗退しましたが月曜日の朝4時のファイナルは楽しみにしてます！！素晴らしい試合期待してます。

In honor of the 2014 World Cup, which is being held in Brazil and is nearing the final match, here is a special edition of the sports magazine Number.  It features a guide with information on the current squads for each national team.  Although the teams I like have lost 😥 , I’m looking forward to an exciting final match at 4:00am(!) on the 14th!!

後は宝塚のセレブレーション１００！のプログラムです。この前私はセレブレーションを見に行きました♫　このプログラム中にはキレイな写真と宝塚のストーリーがあります。そしてもちろんスターファイルもあります♡

The other featured book is the program from Celebration 100! Takarazuka, which I went and saw last month.  It features lovely photos of the cast as well as a history of Takarazuka.  Of course it also has profiles of the top stars.♡
