As you know, our salon features products from the Italian, organic brand OLIOSETA. But did you know that I come from Italy too??

そして、今月私の両親はイタリアを旅行します！！私のお父さんはイタリアの家族に久しぶりに会って。以前はイタリアに住んでいました！私はイタリア生まれで〜す！

最近写真を送ってもらって：以前住んでいたアパートと近いの公園です。私は赤ちゃんのとき、毎日公園に行っていました😉　

This month, my parents are visiting my father’s family in Italy. My parents used to live and work there, and I was born there! Recently they sent me some pictures of their trip, including the apartment we used to live in and the park they often took me to when I was just a baby😉

アメリカご紹介 part III

After Spokane, my dad continued to drive from Washington to Montana. To get there you cross over the Rocky Mountains through Idaho.

ワシントン州からモンタナ州まで運転しました！約４時間くらいです。ワシントン州とモンタナ州の間はアイダホ州と「ロッキー山脈」のパスは海抜 1,436m です😵

First we stayed in Missoula, Montana, where my aunt and uncle live. It’s a cute town with a university, many cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. There were also pianos in front of some shops that anyone could play. My uncle played the great novelty ragtime tune Nola for us!

最初はモンタナ州の「ミズーラ」で止まりました。「ミズーラ」の街はとてもカワイイ！色なカフェーとレストランとブティックがあります。そして店の前にピアノがあります！！誰でもピアノを弾くことができます。私のおじさん上手にピアノを弾きました！！

After Missoula, we headed to Deer Lodge where my mother’s family has a ranch. Along the way I saw a sign with my name on it!! As we came closer to the town, I also saw a sign with my mother’s family name, “Beck”. She has many relatives in and near the town and the hill is in fact named for her family!!

「ミズーラ」を後にして車に乗っていたら私の名前が偶然！！看板にありました！！　近くで次はお母さんの家族名前も看板でありました。それは偶然ではない。小さい街で「BECK」さんは多いみたいです（笑）。

Pictured above is a ranch with a funny and unique scarecrow (left), and a big farm with lots of cows (right)!!

アメリカご紹介 part II

私のお父さんは「オレゴン州」から「ワシントン州」の街：「スポケーン」まで運転しました！約６時間くらいです😵

最初の３時間には「コロンビア川」が「オレゴン」と「ワシントン」の間にあります。とても大きな川でたくさん滝があります。「マルトノマ滝」（１８９m）はキレイです。いっぱい風力原動機もあります！！「ワシントン州」に入るとずっと砂漠気候見たいです。

「アジアンフード」の店に食べ行きました。私は魚を食べないので美味しいお野菜巻き寿司は嬉しいです😉

After Portland, my father drove along the Columbia River Gorge and through Eastern Washington to the city of Spokane. It took over 6 hours 😵! On the first part of the drive, you can see Multnomah Falls and many wind turbines along the river that divides Oregon from Washington. The second part, after entering Washington, is a long stretch of semi-desert. That night we had dinner at an Asian restaurant. I was happy to eat the vegetarian sushi rolls with cucumber and avocado😊.

次の日は近くの大きな公園に歩いて行きました。「マニトパーク」にはいっぱいのガーデンがあります。ヨーロッパスタイルの「ダンカンガーデン」はとてもキレイですね！　そして日本スタイルのガーデン「西宮」もステキです！！

The next morning we walked to Manito Park and Botanical Gardens, a beautiful park with many different types of gardens. The European style Duncan Garden is lovely with its symmetrical layout and fountain. There is also a Japanese garden, Nishinomiya, named after the city in Japan. It was also stunning!!
